The Office of Equity, Partnerships and Engagement in collaboration with the Black Excellence Think Tank is partnering with Urban Triage to present “Thriving Through Adversity Workshop Series,” a collection of workshops for families and MMSD staff featuring support and advocacy for Black families in the community. To support families through the pandemic, Urban Triage, Inc. will focus support specific to the needs of Black families created by COVID-19. Urban Triage, Inc., will be hosting twelve interactive  workshops in the upcoming weeks to provide support and answer your questions.

5/14, 2:45 p.m. - Thriving Under a Microscope – “Zoom Meetings are the Windows to Your Home”

5/15, 4:00 p.m. - A Life Better Than Mine – Talking with Your 6-18-year olds About the Power of Love and Relationships

5/18, 2:30 p.m. - COVID-19 Community Resources Workshops with Dane County Collaboration of Black Service Providers in partnership with United Way of Dane County

5/19 - 4:00 p.m. - Mentally Preparing for Job Searches During COVID-19

5/21 - 4:00 p.m. Work Readiness Workshop – Hosted by Michelle Bozeman of Urban League of Greater Madison
